Fall Colors in Zion National Park

The wonders of creation testifies of the Creator that transcends words and brightens our soul.

Fall is my favorite time of year here in Zion.  The oppressive heat of summer has ended, there's a bite in the morning air and you can smell the earth with every breath.  As a photographer it's like being a kid in a candy store.

My wife recently got an Android phone with an HD camera.  She used to always have to wait for me on the trail, mind you not with a phone camera, but as of her new found passion for photography it's often me that's now waiting.

This year we've had a lot of late season rain in August and September, combined with an unusually mild Fall creating a memorable year for Autumn beauty.  I do offer photography workshops on my website, but unfortunately I have no more openings this Fall.

Here' a few images from this Fall in Zion and Kolob canyons.
