Valley Uprising Trailer

Several years ago I was asked by Sender Films to submit some vintage Yosemite climbing photos for inclusion in their film, Valley Uprising.  The depth of this project didn't really occur to me until I recently saw an advance screening of the finished product nearly 5 years in the making.  Peter Mortimer and Nick Rosen, the producers, did an outstanding job of the wild counter-culture athletes that I grew up with. St. George in the Winter

Winter time in St. George boasts mild temperatures and endless recreational opportunities.  Most who visit in winter are awed by the seasonal beauty that this special time of year imprints upon their hearts. For photographers the warmth of the low-laying light yields spectacular images throughout the entire day. The Pine Valley Mountains often cooperate with a fresh blanket of snow.
